Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you visit bestdealhunters.com (the "Site"), operated by BestDealHunter ("we", "us"). We keep this short because we collect very little.

Summary

• We do not have user accounts, sign-up forms, comments or a newsletter.
• We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and the Site does not set its own cookies or store anything in your browser.
• We do not sell or share personal information for money or for targeted advertising.
• Third-party services that deliver parts of the Site, and retailers you visit through our links, handle data under their own policies, described below.

Information we receive

Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to handle your request (for example, correcting a deal), and we keep it only as long as needed for that.

Instagram. If you follow, message or comment on @best_dealhunter, we can see what Instagram shows account owners, such as your username and messages. Instagram is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy.

Services that deliver the Site

When your browser loads the Site, it connects directly to the services below. Like any web server, they receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep it in logs. We do not receive these logs or use them to identify you.

• GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) hosts the Site. GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security and to operate the service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
• Google Fonts (Google LLC, fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) provides the typeface on the main deals page; our other pages use your device's own fonts. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
• Cloudinary (Cloudinary Ltd., res.cloudinary.com) serves most deal images. See the Cloudinary Privacy Policy.

Links to retailers and affiliate tracking

Deal links take you to retailers' websites, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target and Best Buy. Some links are affiliate links, through the eBay Partner Network and the Amazon Associates program. When you click one, the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technology on its own website to record that you came from BestDealHunter, so that we can be paid a commission on a qualifying purchase. That tracking happens on their sites, not ours, and is governed by their privacy policies. We may receive reports of clicks, purchases and commissions, which do not identify you to us by name.

Once you leave the Site, the other website's privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party websites.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; this may affect how retailer sites work.
• You can ask us to delete any email correspondence you sent us by writing to Admin@bestdealhunters.com.

California residents

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. If you are a California resident, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you (in practice, only email you sent us) and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing Admin@bestdealhunters.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. Because we collect so little, very little information about you is held by us at all.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
